5 Modes

A dual channel unit, the TENS 7000 unit may be used in its 5 different modes that are briefly described below:

  1. Burst Mode (B) - In the Burst Mode, the burst rate and pulse width are adjustable while the frequency remains fixed at 100 Hz.
  2. Modulation Mode (M) - The Modulation Mode of the TENS 7000 is a combination of pulse rate and pulse width modulation where these two are automatically varied in a cycle pattern.
  3. Normal Mode (N) - In the Normal Mode, continuous stimulation is generated based on the setting value whereas the pulse rate and pulse width are adjustable.
  4. The Strength-Duration Mode (SD1) - The SD1 mode consists of a pulse width in the 40 percent range with automatic modulation intensity. The pulse width decreases while intensity increases, and vice-versa.
  5. The Strength-Duration Mode (SD2) - The SD2 mode consists of a pulse width in the 70 percent range with automatic modulation intensity. The pulse width decreases while intensity increases, and vice-versa.

This unit needs to be seriously considered if one is looking for relief from pain in different parts of the body such as back pain, neck pain, foot pain or other areas of the body. Its five preset modes allow the user to customize the user's pain relief therapy and it also comes with a patient compliance meter and a timer.

While some of the TENS units on the market are quite fragile, and can break easily if let fall, the TENS 7000 unit is a much sturdier model. Compared to it, some of other low quality models have a plastic covering that can get smashed on an average impact.
